Customer customization disclaimer
Customer-Supplied Items Agreemnt:
I understand that I am providing my own garments or other items to The Stitch Witch Vermont LLC for customization. Embroidery involves needles, hoops, stabilizers, machinery, and other processes that carry an inherent risk of damage, even when reasonable care is taken.
Possible risks include, but are not limited to, needle holes, puckering, fabric distortion, hoop marks, thread or needle breakage, machine malfunction, and unexpected reactions caused by the item's fabric, construction, coating, condition, or previous use.
I understand that The Stitch Witch Vermont LLC cannot guarantee the condition, quality, suitability, or replaceability of customer-supplied items. I accept the risk associated with having my items customized and agree that The Stitch Witch Vermont LLC will not be responsible for replacing or reimbursing me for customer-supplied items damaged as a result of the ordinary and inherent risks of the embroidery process, except where otherwise required by law.
I understand that sentimental, irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind, or unusually valuable items should not be submitted for customization.
Design Approval
I understand that digitized embroidery may not be an exact reproduction of a printed, photographed, or previously embroidered logo. Minor variations in lettering, proportions, thread color, stitch appearance, size, and placement may occur because of the digitizing and embroidery processes and the characteristics of the item being embroidered.
Before production, I am responsible for reviewing and approving the design, spelling, numbers, colors, approximate dimensions, and placement. Once I provide approval and embroidery has begun, changes cannot be made.
Final Sale
Custom embroidery completed according to the approved design and order specifications is final and non-refundable. The Stitch Witch Vermont LLC is not responsible for errors in information supplied or approved by the customer, including spelling, names, numbers, sizing, colors, or placement.
If I have any reservations about these terms, I understand that I may decline the work and have my items returned to me untouched before embroidery begins.
